News just released from Santoy that they have acquired a 50% interest with their joint venture partners Melkior in a 20 claim, 400-hectare property.

For those of you who want the scientific detail the following is a direct quote from Santoy:

”The claims cover a series of radioactive showings known as the Henderson (Marquardt) Occurrences. Historically, these are described in Ontario Geological Survey Mineral Deposits Circular 23 (Published 1981). Five sheared, brecciated pegmatite dikes were investigated by Henderson Uranium Mines Ltd. in 1954 and by Merland Oil Company of Canada in 1968. Showing No. 1 consists of two parallel, closely spaced radioactive zones, 10 and 25 feet wide. One select grab sample assayed 0.28% U3O8. At Showing No. 3, a chip sample of biotite-rich brecciated pegmatite over a width of 6 feet assayed 0.15% U3O8. At Showing No. 4, a 40-foot wide sheared and brecciated zone is exposed over a length of 150 feet. A representative grab sample assayed 0.22% U3O8, and two additional samples assayed 0.33% and 0.65 % U3O8.”

It is good to see one of our investments, Santoy, previously described by us as a “Jack Of All Trades” take some more positive steps in the uranium field.

Santoy Resources Ltd. trades on the TSX under the symbol SAN, and is up 3% at $1.01 as we write.

Melkior Resources Inc, trades on the TSX under the symbol MKR, and is up 2.8% at $0.36 as we write. (For new comers to this site we are talking Canadian dollars)

Good Luck.
