Topic: Uranium Mining Stocks — February 18th, 2007

Uranium-stocks investment in Mega Uranium is doing really well and has quickly become one of the hottest uranium stocks in our portfolio, as we can see from the chart below:
Chart:
Some of the cash that we recently took out of Laramide went into Mega as we took the view that Laramide was a little overbought and we also needed to do a little re-balancing of our portfolio. Every now and again you need to stand back and look at just where your exposure to the market lies. It can be surprising how much you have put into one stock when the acquisitive opportunity presents itself. This of course, may not be applicable to you.
An extract from the TSX shows the news flow from Mega, ten events in just over one month clearly demonstrates that the management team mean business, that they are pro-active with good results right there on the table.
The list below shows such activities as: exploration in Australia, incentives for directors, acquisitions in Queensland and exploration in Mongolia, financing, development studies and first quarter results. As investors this is all music to our ears.

I’m puzzled. Why are you publishing the 2007 chart for Mega Resources. As an investor the 2010 figures are what I am concerned with. Would appreciate an explanation.

Some time ago our readers asked us to group together articles about a particular company so that they didn’t have to search the whole site to see what we had written in the past about that company.
So we came up with the idea of relating articles by the company name, which works well for Agnico as the system then groups together those articles about Agnico.
However for articles of a more general nature the system does not work so well. Hopefully we can improve on it in future.
Best wishes,
Bob
