Nigeria, atomic council partner on nuclear energy

THE Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, has assured the International Atomic Energy Council (IAEC) that Nigeria is already looking towards the development of her nuclear energy potentials in view of its importance to the nation’s socio-economic breakthrough. 

He stressed that the Federal Government was ready to partner with the council to achieve maximum benefit of the project.

Nebo, who gave the assurance yesterday when the Director-General of IAEC, Mr. Kwanu Aning, led a delegation to his office in Abuja, said as the nation aspires to be the hub of technological know-how in the continent, acquisition of nuclear technology will make our people to mentor other African countries.
