News Flash: Uranium Futures trading at $140.00!

The NYMEX has kicked off with Uranium Futures for June delivery trading at $140.00 per pound having opened at $132.50 per pound.
Contracts for the months of July, August, September etc, have yet to trade.
All interesting stuff – thought that you would like to know.

cant understand AGS AUST. today have fallen a heap their announcement sounded extra good can anyone explain???thanks...

NYMEX Uranium Futures opened 5/8/07 at $144.00 currently at $148.00.
Most recent settlement $135.00 a change of +$13.00.

so light only 4 contracts -- it will take 6 months to see if this has any real impact on price
The first week of any Futures Market is always a little tricky to say the least but as the pressure is on uranium at the moment we expect the volume to grow rapidly and then we will get a better feel of how this year is going to pan out.
