Uranium Participation Corp: Up 23.4% in 3 months

For those wanting exposure to the price of uranium without the inherent risks of mining then this could be the vehicle.

In a nutshell this company invests its funds into physical uranium with the intention of holding the metal as an investment. Dennison Mines Incorporated manages the fund. As of the 28 February 2006 the Net Asset Value of the fund was $579 million or $11.95 per share. On 20 March 2007 the company raised $85 million of which 85% will go into uranium.

We bought this stock at $11.97 on 21 November 2006 and are pleased to see a 23.4% increase in the last three months.

Taking a look at the chart there is nothing too dramatic to report, the progress is gradual and steady.
