With 24% of all known global uranium reserves, Australia is the largest player in the park when it comes to yellowcake. As a result of this, some links have been made between Australia in the uranium industry and Saudi Arabia in the oil sector, due to the similar nature of these two countries positions within their respective industries.
So is Australia set to become the next Saudi Arabia as the world moves away from fossil fuels and towards nuclear energy? (read more…)

Fronteer Development Group Inc has reported that they have identified a new zone at their Kirazli project about 1km west of their original resource.
This new zone boasts a magnificent 583 g/t of gold, that’s 17 ounces per ton!

The recent floods in Britain are one of the worst in history, with many people left stranded and at least 3 dead as the armed forces and emergency service conduct the biggest rescue operation that Britain has seen outside times of war.

With the world’s largest uranium reserves, a lot of attention is focused on Australia and if it will lift the ban on more uranium mining.

We are of the opinion that it is a question of when, not if, Australia’s states (such as Queensland) allow uranium mining. However it looks as if the states may not even be in a position to stop uranium mining if the Commonwealth pushes to overturn the ban (read more…)

We signalled a BUY on RPT Uranium in February when the stock was trading at around 40 cents. We signalled a SELL four months later for a 47.6% profit as technically RPT looked as if it was due a pullback.

We may have sold a little early, but in doing so we have saved ourselves, and hopefully many of our readers, a loss of 27% as RPT is now down 43% from its high (read more…)

The two major indicators for the uranium price are TradeTech and UXC, however they do not always agree on the uranium price and so this sometimes leads to some confusion.

After finding a support near five dollars, Mega Uranium has now firmly broken its downtrend and has clearly formed a new uptrend as the chart below demonstrates.

Unfortunately, technically speaking its not all good news for Mega as the 50 day moving average recently broke down through the 200dma line. This sends a negative signal, but (read more…)
